IKEA WAY OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
We’re launching a new HR Club series dedicated to inspiring HR leaders and sharing best-practice know-how for us all in the business.
What kind of event can I expect?
The most valuable thing in the busy corporate world is getting together, where we can stop for a moment, share our experiences, and inspire each other. That is the goal of this meeting. In the Czech Republic, we regularly organize HR Clubs as a place where professionals from the world of HR can exchange ideas. We want to launch a similar platform in Budapest, where we have been operating for a year.
Don't expect long presentations from a training agency; expect practical experience, case studies, and space for discussion.
Guests and program?
Ikea is a global icon and a company built on strong values. We will welcome two guests who have been with the company for a long time and will share their experiences with us.
Peter Tichý
Peter manages the IKEA Soroksár store, which was selected as a global pilot for IKEA's new retail approach and has undergone a complete renovation. This places extraordinary demands on the entire management team, which must rise to the challenge. We will learn, for example, what development activities are helping them to do this and why.
Réka Csenge Zima
Csenge is the People and Culture Manager at the IKEA Budaörs store. IKEA conducts regular engagement surveys every year and uses them to prepare action plans. We will learn, for example, how these plans translate into development needs, but also how IKEA's values are reflected in day-to-day leadership.
